UK-based freelance tradestand & kiosk designer at your service.
Design overview: Hello, my name is Jimm ( Jim ), a friendly, curious, and professional freelance exhibition and trade stand designer who is eager to create an engaging customer experience for you and your business. My core skills and experience reside in conceptualising, brainstorming, and in creating detailed plans and illustrations for exhibitions and trade stands.
Whether you need a draftsman's hand to create a detailed drawing to present to a stand builder and fabricator, or some concepts that consider user experience and engage with a customer, I will gladly offer both my pragmatic brain and hand to a project.
So.
Whether you need a design plan for a proposal, a 2D rendering, an illustration, a sketch, or a full-scale design from ideation to final plan drawings, I may be able to help with your project.
As a freelance exhibition and trade stand designer. All I need from you is a brief - a mission to undertake and a goal to be met.
That's enough about me, what about you?
Whether you are a small business, a charity, a product maker, an artisan, a museum or somebody who has something to sell or show! I'm curious to know how and where I can help based on my knowledge and experience.
My core skills lie in marketing, draughtsmanship, and visual thinking of your project.
I enjoy offering what I know and learning more! I will gladly work in partnership with 3D visualisers, 3D modellers, fabricators and stand-builders.
As a freelance trade stand & kiosk designer, if you have a budget and an idea,
send an enquiry and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Are you bizarre business, an eccentric museum owner or something else entirely? All welcome including individual businesses and sole-traders.
Freelance Tradestand & Kiosk Designer – My Skills
Based on my experiences from designing kiosks, booths, trade stands, and shop fit-outs.
Here is a short overview of my skills:
I can draw, map, plan, illustrate, ideate, design, and format an idea for reference and presentation.
These documents and drawings can be used to present 'intent' to landlords, leaseholders and stand builders. Many of whom like to see concepts before agreeing to construction and signing official documentation.
I should note, I am not a safety specialist or 3D artist.
I'm a conceptual and pragmatic draftsman in lay terms who has gained experience working as a trade stand & kiosk designer.
My formal education lies within design.
As part of my design career, I now offer these skills on a freelance basis.
Freelance Kiosk & Shop Plan Designer
As part of a niche skill of freelance exhibition & trade kiosk design, I can also design retail kiosks and shops! As a freelance kiosk & shop plan designer, I have worked on initial shop concepts, floor plans, drawings, construction ideas, storage ideas and a host of other elements that comes with helping a client to get a shop designed and fabricated.
From creating brand orientated signage to considering the functionality of your shop, this is something I would be happy to help draft.
For the company Mobilise, I was commissioned to design and plan a series B2C retail kiosks. These kiosks were built in a selection shopping centres in and around London.
In addition to designing some of their kiosks, I was also commissioned to create a shop interior. A more complex project logistically speaking, as additional requirements needed to be considered in its construction. Such as the shutters, window signage, retail display, ceiling, flooring and shelving.
I illustrated this project as part of a proposal for the shop design.
Both as a freelance kiosk designer and trade stand designer, I have also visited sights.
