Freelance Board Game Design Consultation Services

Design consultation for board and card games! Before becoming a freelance designer, I was involved in creating STEM products and party games as part of an in-house team at a gifting company.

Building upon those skills, I have helped both hobbyists, individuals and start-ups to create board games and card games.

Much of my focus is on the visual design of the game. But, I can also consult on the prototype making, the design, the theme, the audience, and the general production of the game prototype, too.

If you are unsure about the game-making journey, this can be a great, low-risk way of dipping your toe into the industry and seeing if the path is right for you.

Freelance Design Consultation Service Round-up - FAQ

Breakdown – Consultation Services

Costing – Each consultation is treated on a case-by-case basis. However, each consultation needs to be pre-booked and paid in advance. Starting fees are £135.00 ( minimum ) including tax.
Time – Virtual face to face consultations are approximately 40 minutes, excluding time for research and preparation.
Cancelling - Consultations can be cancelled but not refunded, as I would have already invested my time and preparation for your consultation. Please consider carefully before booking and paying for consultations. Consultations can, however, be postponed ( pushed back ) if circumstances change, in which you cannot attend.
Do I need a webcam, computer and screen?- If you are having a virtual consultation, yes! To carry out a video consultation, I will need to be able to speak to the client.
Where am I based? – Ampthill, Bedfordshire – just outside London, UK. Easy access to London via Thames link. Direct stations to Kings Cross, Farringdon, and Blackfriars.
Do I do in-person sit-down meetings and consultations? - I do. However, my time and cost for travel need to be paid in advance.
